Location
From Dumfries, take the A75 west, signposted Stranraer, and by-pass Castle Douglas. 3 miles after Castle Douglas by-pass, turn left off the A75 onto the A711 to Kirkcudbright. In Kirkcudbright town centre, just before the shops turn right onto the A755, and cross the bridge. After half a mile turn left onto the B727 to Borgue. In Borgue village, turn left uphill past the church. Continue on this road for 2 miles, following the signs to Carrick, until you reach a small bridge over a stream.
Braeview Cottage
The entrance to Braeview is on the right about 100m after the bridge. Follow the access road through the field to the cottage
Craig Cottage
Roberton is up the hill on the right after the bridge. The gate to Craig Cottage is almost opposite the Roberton road end.
